We have experienced a need for capsule end caps - the 30 plus year old plastic end caps have either cracked or completely separated in almost every button housing we have opened up.
Once they crack the spring loaded button pushes them apart and allows water to intrude or they completely separate and stop working.
These are made from billet T-6061 aluminum in the USA.
You can purchase them individually or as a set of two (front and back) for a single capsule. They are not interchangeable - there is a front (button side) and a back (wire side).
